What The Specs Mean
- SSD is mandatory, not optional. The game explicitly requires an SSD — a hard drive install may run but is not supported.
- The GPU bar is the real gate. An RTX 2060 SUPER 8 GB (or RX 6600 8 GB) is a mid-range 2020-class card. If your GPU is a GTX 10-series or an 8 GB-class card from before 2019, expect trouble.
- 8 GB of VRAM is the floor. The requirement names 8 GB variants specifically — 6 GB cards like the RTX 2060 non-SUPER are not listed.
- 16 GB system RAM is required. 12 GB machines will likely struggle with stutter on the open world.
- Modern CPUs only. The i7-10700K and Ryzen 5 3600 are both 2020-era eight-core/six-core parts; older quad-cores are below the stated floor.
Console & Platform Notes
Mortal Shell II also launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on the same day (August 20, 2026). The publisher has not published per-console performance targets or resolution/framerate specifics, so this page sticks to the official PC numbers. The Steam page lists full controller support (including DualShock and DualSense) on PC, and the game ships with adjustable text size, contrast controls and volume options.
